About Us
Iron & Oak was born out of a simple idea — that two skilled tradesmen are better than one. Barry and Ben started out helping each other on jobs a couple of years ago, and quickly realised that together they could take on bigger, better projects and deliver results neither could match alone.
What started as a handshake between two experienced builders has grown into a trusted name across Somerset. Between them, Barry and Ben bring over 40 years of hands-on experience to every project — from roofing and extensions to bespoke carpentry and full kitchen fits. They're not a faceless company.
